Steve Pennock has been Fantasy Balloon Charters chief pilot for the last 16 years.  During that time Steve has logged thousands of hours as pilot in command and is the most highly qualified pilot in British Columbia, licensed for the operation of commercial size hot air balloon systems able to carry passenger loads from one to twelve people.  Steve proudly maintains a perfect flight record after 21 years of commercial flying.  This has been achieved by Steve's professional no-nonsense attitude towards flight planning which puts passenger safety ahead of all other considerations.   As chief pilot for Fantasy Balloon Charters Steve has personally flown in excess of twenty five thousand clients for the company without incident, an achievement which is unparalleled by any other balloonists in British Columbia.

In addition to Steve's commercial license he also has a flight instructors rating and is often called upon as a consultant for festivals, air shows, and aerial stunts for the film industry.  

Steve has competed in balloon festivals and competitions around the world and has been ranked in the top echelon every time.
