EXPERIENCE THE JOURNEY

Come and enjoy the ultimate  in romantic adventure with Fantasy Balloon Charters Celebrate life with one of our "Hot Air Balloon Flights" over the Fraser Valley.  You will experience the wonder of balloon flight as you drift serenely along in harmony with every breeze.

A balloon flight, of necessity, starts very early in the morning or in the late afternoon.  When the entire balloon has been assembled and the operating lines attached, inflation starts.  The envelope rolls about and soon rises into a large semi-sphere lying on its side.  When it is nearly full of cold air from the powerful inflating fan, heat is applied with one of the burners.  It rises upward until there is a majestic sphere floating above you, 60 feet in diameter and eight stories tall.  You're invited to climb into the basket and experience the rising sense of exhilaration.

If you ask someone to describe their first balloon flight, they'll usually talk about it in terms of the ground gently falling away from the balloon.  You float away in a very magical sort of way.  You will feel no sensations of rising.  The surrounding countryside becomes a miniature landscape slowly unfolding beneath you.  Your trip across the land may well be announced by the barking of dogs.  As you drift serenely along, on occasional person on the ground will wave greetings and extend an invitation to land.

A balloon never tries to conquer the wind, instead it lives in harmony with every breeze.  Wind dictates the direction it should go, for all the world like some invisible escort for this "Lady in the Sky"!

Eventually, and always too soon, you pilot will sight a prospective landing site ahead.  You float gently down, slowly descending.  A slight jolt and then a little bounce tells you you're back on earth.  From unseen places, people materialize with questions and offers to help.

The balloon chase vehicle greets you and the balloon is packed up.  Your flight is celebrated with the traditional Champagne, and you are toasted, welcoming you into an exclusive fraternity.  You are an "Aeronaut".  Your flight may be over, but your memories will live on.
